四年前，一支名叫Immanu El的年輕樂隊首次來華，空靈的聲音與飄渺的意境令無數(shù)中國樂迷為之傾倒。2017年5月26日—5月31日，蟄伏許久之后，瑞典夢幻后搖樂隊Immanu El終于將攜全新專輯——《Hibernation》回歸中國，呈現(xiàn)5城巡演。

Immanu El成軍于2004 年，由當時只有 16 歲的孿生兄弟 Claes Strangberg與Per Strangberg，以及多年好友David Lillberg 和Jonatan Josefsson共同組建。樂隊風(fēng)格融合了后搖,氛圍,夢幻流行和實驗音樂等多種元素。






樂隊首張 EP《Killerwhale》一經(jīng)推出就在短時間內(nèi)售罄。2008 年，Immanu El發(fā)行了處女作《They' ll Come, They Come》。2009 年末，第二張唱片《Moen》由 And The Sound Records 全球發(fā)行。兩年之后，樂隊推出第三張專輯《In Passage》。自首張專輯發(fā)行以來，Immanu El在30個國家和地區(qū)呈現(xiàn)了300多場演出，成為斯堪的納維亞半島最富盛名的樂隊之一。

2016年末，歷經(jīng)漫長的法律訴訟等坎坷，Immanu El終于得以推出全新大碟——《Hibernation》，由Glitter House Records發(fā)行。Immanu El投入了前所未有的時間與精力悉心打磨新作，他們邀請到曾獲瑞典格萊美提名的制作人Johan Eckeborn操刀。初春時節(jié)，幾個男孩在意大利托斯卡納的山頂租下一間錄音室，在那里花了兩個星期時間與Johan Eckeborn一起展開錄制，最終出落成這張動人心魄的新作《Hibernation》。

在《Hibernation》中，Immanu El特有的廣闊視角與簡約敘事更進一步。Johan Eckeborn的加入令樂隊的聲音張力更加獨特，情感表現(xiàn)愈發(fā)深入人心。樂隊在旋律中引入由合成器與律動擰合而成的驅(qū)力，主唱Claes富有磁性的空靈嗓音與氛圍深邃的音樂融為一體，營造出夢幻廣闊的視像。

新專輯圍繞“蟄伏”與“覺醒”這兩個主題，將樂隊在過去幾年里的旅程訴諸音樂。


首支單曲《Voices》驚艷亮相，單曲MV腳本來自艾美獎得主Jeff Pinilla 創(chuàng)作拍攝的短電影《The Earth The Way I Left It》，講述了一個感人至深的故事：從小夢想成為宇航員的弟弟在車禍中喪生，而在姐姐的夢中，弟弟變成了一名宇航員，歷經(jīng)艱難跋涉回到了家。美好的回憶和殘酷的現(xiàn)實相互交織。《Voices》溢出深邃凄美的悲傷，音樂在寬廣的音景氛圍中將痛苦、孤獨與救贖娓娓道來，樂曲與影片節(jié)奏咬合，相互交織，令人動容。

在第二支單曲《Omega》中，Immanu El再次將音樂與視覺藝術(shù)結(jié)合。這首歌融合了后搖特有的氛圍感以及獨立搖滾的沖擊力，密錯交織的吉他與天籟般的人聲吟唱結(jié)合，成為一首充滿力量、旋律感極強的作品。單曲MV由Nicholas Livanos執(zhí)導(dǎo)，用隱喻和象征意味十足的戲劇語言講述“啟示”, “覺醒”與“永恒”。

“這首歌是關(guān)于個人的啟示——一種與永恒產(chǎn)生的連接感，讓人從更廣闊的視角去思考短暫的人生。‘Omega’在聲音上是對第一支單曲‘Voices’的補充，它呈現(xiàn)了Immanu El更具力量的面向，與我們之前作品的氛圍感不同，它的能量強度是前所未有的，我們很開心能有這樣的轉(zhuǎn)變。”

Immanu El長期活躍在各國頂級音樂節(jié)，樂隊曾受邀參加奧斯汀SXSW音樂節(jié)，漢堡Reeperbahn音樂節(jié)，洛杉磯Filter's Culture Collide 音樂節(jié)，紐約CMJ Music Marathon，多倫多音樂周，以及北京上海草莓音樂節(jié)。2016年，Immanu El還作為嘉賓樂隊與后搖大牌Explosions in the Sky共同展開歐洲巡演，樂隊更是將此次巡演的柏林現(xiàn)場制作成短紀錄片，在中國巡演即將開始之際，同中國樂迷分享。

Immanu El has reached to the forefront as one of Scandinavia’s most prominent bands, touring together with Explosions in the Sky and headlining festivals in Europe and the US. After touring China, including two festivals slots at Strawberry Festival in 2013, we are very excited to invite Immanu El back to China. The band will play a magical live set that will take you straight to a northern winter wonderland.
